In recent years, the negative connotations associated with the term "otaku" have been fading, and "otaku" are no longer a minor player.

THEREFORE, WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE "SHIBUYA COSPLAY NIGHT" AS A MID-NIGHT PARTY FOR THE 13TH SHIBUYA MUSIC FESTIVAL, FEATURING "COSPLAY" AND "ANIME SONGS". THIS WILL BE A NEW LATE-NIGHT COSPLAY EVENT THAT WILL ATTRACT NOT ONLY JAPANESE COSPLAY FANS, BUT ALSO COSPLAY ENTHUSIASTS FROM OVERSEAS. THE EVENT WILL BE HELD IN SHIBUYA, A WORLD-CLASS COSPLAY MECCA FOR HALLOWEEN AND OTHER EVENTS. POPULAR ANIME DJS AND ARTISTS WILL ALSO PARTICIPATE TO LIVEN UP THE SHIBUYA NIGHT.
